Easy Christmas Tags

I had the idea for this christmas tags after rummaging around in my “never before used stamps” drawer. I found this great tag stamp from Stampers Anonymous, which I bought at the Stamp Mekka 2008.

Ich hatte die Idee zu diesen Weihnachtsanhängern als ich in meiner Schublade für “noch nie benutzte Stempel” herumwühlte. Dort fand ich den Tag Stempel von Stampers Anonymous, den ich 2008 auf dem Stempel Mekka gekauft habe.

All you need to create this tags are some punches (my Martha Steward leaves punch almost gave out during this..LOL), eyelets, ribbon and charms (all the charms I used can be purchased via Whiff of Joy).

Alles was ihr braucht um diese Geschenkanhänger zu basteln sind ein paar Stanzer (mein Martha Steward Blätter Stanzer hat während diesem Projekt fast den Geist aufgegeben…haha), Eyelets, Bänder und Charms (alle Charms, die ich verwendet haben sind via Whiff of Joy erhältlich).

I left the ribbon quite long, so that it will be easy to attach the tags to the gifts.

Ich habe die Bänder recht lang gelassen, damit es leichter ist die Anhänger an den Geschenken zu befestigen.

WoJ Guest Designer Spotlight – Ula Kazmierowska

Hi! My name is Ula Hejnig-Kazmierowska from UHK Gallery and I'm from Poland. My nickname in the web is UHK.
I'm a happy wife. We have two little daughters (Hania - 4 and Agatka - 1).
Coloring stamped images is a new thing to me, because those techniques are quite new in Poland.

I fell in love with the "Willow with hot chocolate" WOJ stamp and that's how my adventure has begun.
I experiment with coloring using aquarel pencils and distress inks. I love shabby romantic style and vintage distress. I’m very happy that I've become a GD. That is great honour to me!

Hallo, mein Name ist Ula von UHK Gallery. Ich komme aus Polen und bin eine glücklich verheiratete Mutter von 2 Töchtern (Hania - 4 and Agatka - 1). Das colorieren von gestempelten Motiven ist neu für mich, da es in Polen erst jetzt bekannt wird.

Ich habe mich in Willow mit heißer Schokolade von Whiff of Joy verliebt und so hat mein Abenteuer begonnen. Ich experimentiere mit Colorationstechniken und verwende Aquarellstifte und Distress Inks. Ich liebe den shabby romatic Stil und Vintage. Ich bin sehr glücklich, dass ich bei WoJ Gast Designer sein darf, es ist eine große Ehre für mich.

Warm Thoughts

I couldn’t resist this super cute Wee riding his reindeer long…haha I can’t decide who is cuter… the little gnome with his striped stockings or the reindeer with the large feet and the tiny nose :)

Ich konnte dem süßen Weihnachtswichtel auf seinem Rentier nicht lang widerstehen…haha Es fällt mir auch schwer mich zu entscheiden wer von den Beiden süßer ist – der kleine Wichtel mit seinen gestreiften Strümpfen oder das Rentier, mit den großen Hufen und der winzigen Nase :)

I loooove this years Cosmo Cricket christmas paper and didn’t want to cover too much of it. Some of you might have noticed that I don’t do much sewing on my cards anymore – well that’s because my machine is broken *grmpf* I went to the store yesterday and the lovely Lady told me that the Janome Sew Mini (the one I used) isn’t suitable for such extensive usage (do you think that sewing around a 14cm card is “extensive” ?!?!) Well, I decided to buy a new one and got a bit carried away…LOL It is a quite complicated high tech machine with a touch screen and a USB slot… now it will take ages until I am able to understand and use it…haha

Ok, sorry for the long blabla :) I really wanted to use some sewing or stiching on my card and found this great tutorial on Kim’s blog. I used Stampin’ ups linen thread and am quite happy with the result.

Ich liebe das diesjährige Weihnachtspapier von Cosmo Cricket und wollte deswegen nicht zu viel davon verdecken :) Einigen von euch wird vielleicht aufgefallen sein, dass ich auf meinen Karten schon seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr Nähe… Naja, das ist deswegen, da meine Nähmaschine kaputt ist *grmpf* Also bin ich gestern in das Fachgeschäft gepilgert, wo mir die nette Dame mitgeteilt hat, dass die Janome sew Mini (die ja eigentlich eine Kindermaschine ist), nicht für so exzessives Nähen geeignet ist… (würdet ihr das Nähen um eine 14x14 Karte als exzessiv bezeichnen?!?!) Auf jeden Fall habe ich mich entschieden mir eine andere zu kaufen und habe dabei etwas über die Stränge geschlagen…haha Es ist so ein High Tech Ding, mit Touchscreen und USB Anschluss (es könnte ja schließlich sein, dass ich schnell noch meinen Namen auf meine Unterwäsche sticken will, oder ;) Jetzt brauche ich sicher wieder Wochen bis ich mich auskenne und wieder etwas Nähen kann *am Kopf kratz*

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn… Ich wollte auf meiner Karte unbedingt irgendwas Genähtes einbringen und habe auf Kim’s blog eine super Anleitung gefunden. Ich habe Leinenfaden von Stampin’ Up verwendet und bin mit dem Resultat sehr zufrieden :)

40 years Horst

I am feeling really silly today (again..haha). I received some spam comments under my posts recently and decided to switch comment moderation on for some time. I did it and instantly forgot about it …LOL
”Mysteriously” I didn’t get any comments under my last few posts and started to get worried that nobody is reading my blog anyway… LOL
My dear husband was astonished too and started to look through my blogger settings. He finally discovered that I activated comment moderation and turned it off… Can you guess what he told me when he came home for lunch?? (how embarrassing…haha)

Heute fühle ich mich (wieder einmal) so richtig dümmlich ;)
Ich habe in letzer Zeit öfter Spam Kommentare erhalten und mich deswegen entschlossen die Funktion “Kommentar Moderation” in Blogger zu aktivieren. Ich habe es gemacht und sofort vergessen, dass ich es gemacht habe…haha
”Mysteriöser weise” erhielt ich in den letzten Tagen keine Kommentare mehr zu meinen Beiträgen und dachte mir schon, dass sowieso keiner meinen Blog liest…LOL
Meinem Mann kam es dann auch schon seltsam vor und so hat er sich heute Vormittag die Einstellungen meines Blog angesehen. Er hat die aktivierte Kommentarmoderation entdeckt und ausgeschalten. Jetzt könnt ihr euch sicher denken was ich mir von ihm beim Mittagessen anhören konnte (wie peinlich…haha)

I did this card for a friend of mine who needed a birthday card for a friend. It was published a few weeks ago (hurray ;)

The stamp is WoJ’s Thomas celebrating eagle by Alison Acton. I covered the chipboard numbers with design paper and punched holes through the black ribbon with my Crop a dile to set the eyelets.
I coloured Thomas with Copic Sketch Markers.

Ich habe diese Karte für eine Freundin gebastelt, die eine Geburtstagskarte brauchte. Ich hatte, das Glück, dass sie vor ein paar Wochen in einem Magazin veröffentlicht wurde :)

Der Stempel ist WoJ’s Thomas der Party Adler by Alison Acton. Die Nummern siend vorgestanzt aus Karton, ich habe sie mit Motivpapier überzogen. Durch das schwarze Band habe ich Löcher mit meiner Crop a dile gestanzt und dann Eyelets gesetzt.

Ich habe Thomas mit Copics coloriert.

Season’s Greetings – A Vintage Card

Camilla provided a fantastic tutorial on the Whiff of Joy Tutorials- & Inspirationsblog about how she is doing her vintage cards. She explained so many tips and tricks that I had to try some of them immediately :) My card can’t compete with her masterpeices at all….haha but it was a lot of fun and I like the result. Maybe you also want to give it a try?

Camilla hat ein tolles Tutorial für den Whiff of Joy Tutorials- & Inspirationsblog verfasst in dem sie erklärt wie sie ihre Vintage Karten bastelt. Sie hat so viele Tipps und Tricks vorgestellt, dass ich gleich mal ein paar davon probieren mußte :) Meine Karte kann mit ihrem Meisterwerk natürlich nicht mit halten, aber es hat viel Spaß gemacht und ich bin mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Vielleicht wollte ihr es ja auch probieren?
